Death at the age of 42

Elvis Presley was one of the most famous musicians in history. His career spanned nearly two decades and saw him perform at the height of his popularity. However, his health began to deteriorate before he died in August 1977.

During the last years of his life, Elvis was a bloated, overweight man who was unable to move. He was found lying in a bathroom at the Graceland estate in suburban Memphis. At first, it was believed that he had been killed by a heart attack.

The investigation into his death was completed by a team of nine doctors. They determined that Presley had died of hypertensive cardiovascular disease. This is a condition in which the heart has become enlarged and fails to function properly.

It was also determined that he had glaucoma and diabetes. In addition, he was suffering from severe constipation.

Many people think that drug abuse played a role in his death. There is evidence that Presley abused prescription drugs.

However, the chief medical examiner, Jerry Francisco, said that the cause of Presley’s death was heart failure. Other pathologists have also confirmed this.

According to a story written by journalist Tony Scherman, Dr. “Nick” Nichopoulos, Elvis’ personal physician, was the one who leaped into an ambulance on the day of his death. When the doors closed, he told a dispatcher to take Elvis to Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Doctors at the hospital tried to revive him but were unsuccessful. By 3:30 PM, Presley was officially declared dead.

An autopsy on the body of Elvis Presley was completed, revealing that he had 14 different drugs in his system. These included Dilaudid, Demerol, Percodan, and codeine.

Car collection

The Elvis Presley Car Museum displays a variety of classic cars and motorcycles, including a 1956 Cadillac Eldorado convertible and a 1974 Rolls-Royce Phantom. It is housed in Graceland, the singer’s Memphis home.

During his lifetime, Elvis Presley owned more than a hundred Cadillacs and Lincolns. He also bought several exotic cars such as the Ferrari Dino and the De Tomaso Pantera.

During his time in Germany, he picked up a BMW 507 roadster. His car was painted yellow. But, it didn’t start. In fact, he accidentally burned the car. When he returned to the US, he traded it for a red 507 with an automatic transmission.

Although he owned a lot of cars, the Cadillac was his favorite. This was the car that he most likely would have driven in the 1990s. The convertible featured a 300-horsepower V8 engine and a high-pressure hydraulic system that operated the power sunroof.

Another car he owned was the Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60. He bought this model in 1954. After a few months of use, the car caught on fire. However, Elvis had given it to his mother, Gladys, for a gift.

Probably the most unique car he owned was the Messerschmitt KR200. During his time in the army, Elvis got a chance to see a few German cars. One of these was the Messerschmitt, which is shaped like a fighter plane cockpit.

Another interesting vehicle was the Ford Thunderbird. Besides being a popular vehicle at the time, it was one of the most powerful.

Finally, the most expensive car in the collection was the BMW 507. It was a luxury sports car that was made for people with money.
